XBOX Kinect

Not all game consoles will have players get off their butts and have fun during the course of a video game. Video games have been labeled as games that merely enhance eye-hand coordination, period. Well, this latest addition to the XBOX gaming console aims to change that paradigm.

People have thought of using dance mats and Nintendo even came up with the Wii to encourage players to move around. However, unlike its predecessors, the XBOX Kinect won’t require you to purchase other attachments or peripherals when playing different games. It responds to voice commands and body movements as you play. The Kinect is scheduled for release in November of 2010. It’s really something you should look out for.
