LEGO Board Games

Christmas 2010 will never run out of options especially when you’re picking out some of the best toys to give to your young ones. LEGO will always be one of the best options even for the holidays this year. They have been known to produce some of the best toys out there. Their toys are also known for inspiring the imagination of kids of different generations.

Board Game Mania

Board games are classic toys for young ones and the young of heart. You toss the dice, move your piece, and hopefully you win the game. That’s the classic game play of most board games. However, the LEGO board games this year present a lot of new twists to the classic original game play.

One of the innovative additions they made include assembling the entire game before you can actually play it. This allows parents to spend some play time with kids helping them out in assembling the board. Everything needs to be built including the dice. Some of the LEGO boards will even require you to assemble both the heroes and villains of the game.

LEGO is scheduled to release 10 board games come Christmas 2010. Some boards follow suit with the original game play while others provide different challenges. Some games will make players compete in continuous building. Some of these games require rapid reconstruction and yet others call for strategy in order to win.

Interesting Titles

Since LEGO is scheduled to release a total of 10 boards this year, you can be sure that the variety of game play will give your boys and the entire family as well a lot of fun play time. For instance, the LEGO Minotaurus follows suit with classic race game play. Players move their heroes around the board avoiding obstacles and defeating the evil Minotaur.

Another title, LEGO Creationary, provides a different type of game play. In this LEGO board game, players roll the dice to determine the type of building they will construct. The other players then try to guess exactly what building the other player is constructing. Yet another title, Harry Potter and Hogwarts, will have the players role play the movie’s heroes and villains. Each of these board games provides a unique gaming experience for everyone.\
